Not Much More

I know I haven't written a post in awhile because I don't know what else I can say about bra fitting. One thing that I can tell you is when you measure yourself for a bra you want to do the following: 1. Wrap the measuring tape under your breasts and whatever number that you get you want to add five to it. Don't ask me why I just learned it that way and it always worked for me when I was doing fittings. The number that you get after you add the five is your band size. If you are between sizes like say you get a 35 this just means that you could wear a 34c or a 36b. You go down in band size and go up in cup size and you go up in the band and down in the cup. 2. To get the cup size keep the measuring tape across your back don't move the tape up or down just put the ends across your breasts and whatever number you get will be your cup size. If you are one number up from your band size then you are a A cup if two numbers then you are a b and so on and so on. 3. When...

No More Nearly Sizes

I found out recently that a name brand bra that was available for women or girls that are not that big in the breast department is not being made anymore.  This bra brand was called Playtex thank goodness it fits. This brand carried sizes for all the nearly size women or girls. This brand was perfect for the smaller breasted women and girls.  I went to buy a regular bra for my nine-year-old daughter. She needs a size 36A the problem with regular bras is the bigger the band size the bigger the cup size. I think that it is so stupid that bra brands think that if you need a bigger band size then you are going to need a bigger cup size. This is not always the case.  In my work as a bra measure specialist, I came across a lot of smaller breasted women that were bigger in the band and not in the cup. To bad that this has stopped being made. I am sure there are other brands that make these but I have yet to find them.
