Bra straps
I have found that in my work there is a lot of women who have problems with bra straps.
One of the problems that women have with bra straps is the width of the strap. Straps that are narrow have a tendency to dig into a women's shoulder especially if they are large breasted. I helped women who had deep indents in there shoulders so much so that they looked painful.
One bra that I recommended for women were the Playtex 18 hour bra (style #4693) that was non-underwire but had a really wide padded strap. The only problem with this particular bra was that it was very 50's or 60's looking. If the women were really big breasted it made their breasts look like torpedoes but it was at the time the only one that really helped to keep the strap from digging into the shoulder.
As time went on bra makers started to catch up with the times and in doing so started making bras that were sexier. The other bra that was popular at the time was a new Bali bra that had gel in the straps and was a t-shirt bra (had no seams in the cup). I was selling this bra to younger women who wanted an underwire and wanted something they could wear with a shirt that had a smooth material. If you were to wear the 18-hour bra with a smooth shirt the seams would have been seen through the shirt. I think that the gel strap which was a Bali was discontinued. Now you can look online and find other brands that have gel in the straps.
I recommend to any woman who has a heavy breast to get a bra with a wide strap. If you get the really narrow straps and they start to dig into the shoulder over time there will be a pain in the shoulder area and the neck. Below are some sites that have wide strap and gel strap bras.
