Maternity Bras
Becoming a mother is one of the greatest experiences that will ever happen in your life. I am a mother of two beautiful children one boy and one girl. I love nothing or no one more than I love my children. Until you hold your baby in your arms you can never understand that kind of love.
I had two completely different pregnancies one was more of a breeze while the other was more difficult. With my son, I had no morning sickness and I only gained 5 pounds because I was going through a lot of stress during this time with his father who I was separated from because he was cheating on me. During all of this, I was diagnosed with high blood pressure. I was sent to the hospital 6 different times by my doctor because when I went in for my normal checkups my blood pressure would be up to the point my doctor was very concerned. So I would go to the hospital and spend about 6 hours there while they checked my blood and had me hooked up to monitors so they could check his movement and heartbeat. They would check my blood to make sure I wasn't becoming preeclamptic.
After all, was said and done my son ended up being delivered a month early because I went into an ultrasound and my blood pressure was through the roof. I had an amniocentesis to make sure his lungs were developed enough before they induced me. I was in labor for 12 hours and nothing happened so I was told that I could wait up to 3 days for him to come out on his own or I could have a c-section. I opted for the c-section. He was 4lbs 10oz and 17.25 inches long. I never knew I could love someone so much.
My pregnancy with my daughter was more boring except she liked to make me sick which my son didn't do that. She was a planned delivery because I had a prior c-section. Since I had a new doctor and I lived in a different area than I did when I had my son and the hospital that I had my daughter at would not deliver naturally if you had a prior c-section. It was out of safety for me and my daughter that they would not allow a natural birth because there could be complications with scar tissue and such. My daughter was born healthy and weighed 7lbs 14oz and was 22 inches long. She had a different father and her dad is 6'4" that is where she gets her height.
With my son, my milk came in a day or two later. Wow! My breasts hurt. I was so engorged and I had to relieve the pressure but I chose not to breastfeed. Don't hold it against me it was just my choice. I ended up getting breast pads that went into my sports bra so I wouldn't leak through my bra and shirt. No such luck. I ended up leaking anyway.
I didn't breastfeed my daughter either and my milk came in the day after she was born. Both times I wore a sports bra for about two weeks until I dried up.
Even though I didn't breastfeed I did help women who were pregnant and also ladies who were already mothers and had been breastfeeding. A lot of the time the women needed help with measurements since their breasts had gotten fuller. The pregnant women would come in and get measured maybe every month or two because their band size and breast size would change.
